WilliDreams End of Support

After careful consideration with what to do with the future of WilliDreams, the app is reaching its EOS. v1.4 will be the FINAL VERSION for WilliDreams. Here’s everything you need to know:

Will the app still work?

Yes, the app will still work in its fullest potential! Features like sharing with your friends will still exist and won’t be cut as of right now.

Will the app be delisted?

No, the app will not be delisted unless the plug gets pulled on shareable dreams. We will let you know if we pull this plug ahead of time. Moderation will still be put in place for WilliDreams until the servers shut down.

Any new features

WilliDreams v1.4 will offer redesigned profiles and sidebars on Mac and iPad to be consistent with other williapps for one last time. After this update, it will no longer receive any new features.

What else to come?

WilliDreams will be OPEN SOURCED almost immediately after v1.4 comes out. References to WilliAccounts will be renamed to “Account” and it will be “bring your own firebase project”

Why is WilliDreams end of support happening

WilliDreams is ending support due to the lack of users in the app and how easy it is to replicate. I will also say that it was originally a school (art) project that was not destined to have a major user base. I basically had to argue why UI design was considered a form of art lol.
